"I did not burn the furniture with my hair dryer."
"Yes you did! Come look!"
"That? [pointing at said 'burn mark'] That is not a burn mark, that is a knot in the wood."
"That...Yes...That's a knot in the wood that has been there ever since we installed the sink. How could you have thought that was a burn mark when clearly it is a knot? Silly Tina."
"Yes. I don't know what I could have possibly been thinking. Oh, and by the way, I'm totally blogging about this."
